Live Streams
I worked with Melanated Game Kitchen to cut down a 3 hour live stream showcasing games made during a game jam.
Each game showed was meant to get their own video to be released on YouTube.
There was 12 games in total from the 3 hour live stream. The individual videos can be seen here.

All games got the same style intro.
With the game jam’s cover graphic first, then the game’s logo that as rounded by me, and a fade in transition to the video.
All games got the same style outro.
With a wipe left transition from the previous video, text to show a link to the game’s page, and the game’s logo again.
All games had a square version of Melanated Game Kitchen’s logo overlayed on the video.
I would fade in and out the square logo on sections of the livestream where the stream overlays didn’t have the logo present.

Gaming
I collaborated with Fathomverse to record and edit a game review video for their public app launch in May 2024.
It was a vertical 90 second video for Instagram Reels.
I made a script and storyboard, recorded gameplay and talking footage with a green screen, and then edited them together.
Watch the whole video on Instagram or TikTok.

Figma
In Figma I created a storyboard and script. I shared this with the Community Engagement and Outreach person at Fathomverse.
I made tweaks based on their suggestions.
Took three different game clips and spliced them together to show a creatures information, example pictures, and look alike pictures.
I also edited the talking video clip to move around the video so the pointing matched the correct set of pictures.
Moved the talking video clip and added a zoom in effect, to add drama to the sentence in correspondence with the game action.
Moved the talking video clip in sync with with page scrolling for fun and to draw the eye towards this piece of information.
This is a new trailer for my game 3D Print Your Life, because it got a big visual and mechanic update.

I showed the core gameplay loop. Which is getting quests from NPCs, making and picking up their items, and giving the items to these NPCs.
Thanks to feedback by Jenny Windom, I showed off some of the quest items you get while also showing multiple quest’s starts and ends throughout the trailer.

I recorded and put together a highlight video of a special community event on Dot Big Bang, for their new multiplayer game Micro Royale.
I manually went through the footage to get kill and death counts to have scores at the end of each round.
I added funny zoom effects and highlights during intense moments.

There are some zoom in effects to highlight players, slow motion effects to dramatize close calls, and player scores at the end of each round.
Bloopers Reel
These are some clips of the editing and effects I did for a Blooper Reel. It’s for the Viper Showdown 2022 event covered by Cody’s Car Conundrum, with the bloopers being a special video on the physical disc release for the whole event.

Figma
There was about 50 short blooper videos of for this event. I color coordinated each blooper type and then did test arrangements in Figma.
I wanted to space out the blooper types to keep viewer engagement and keep it interesting.
Some bloopers were people walking into video shots, forgetting lines, getting tongue tied, audio tests, and setting up interviews with people.
Text explaining who the three people in the back are. The text is manually key-framed.
The host lost their train of thought, and I wanted to highlight it as it was one of several takes.
A slow zoom in effect. With an hour glass image manually key-framed to fade in and rotate next to the person’s head.
The host scrunched their eyebrows while saying a call to action. It made a weird expression so I wanted to highlight it.
A slow zoom in effect with a text overlay.
